In this unit is valued and treated the adipose tissue as an organ with a wide metabolic activity and not just as a simple store of energy.

Its location at the abdominal level, known as the “deep visceral fat” is considerated a risk factor of metabolic pathologies (diabetes II, dislipemia, etc.) as well as cardiovascular, inflamatory, immunitary disease and it can also be directly associated to stress situations and with alterations in the cortisol answer.

An inadequate style of life next to the continued body response in front of stressed situations favours the fat deposit of abdominal fat, with all its known consequences called the “Pluri-metabolic syndrome”, which affects a high percentage of the population.

Patients of both sexes in which localization of fat in the abdominal zone is associated to pathologies or situations of physical, psychological, and immune stress.

Line of performance:

1. Evaluation of the abdominal fat and the alterations derived from it by means of:

· Anthropometric measurements
· Analytical alterations of metabolic, inflammatory, hormonal, and immunitary type
· Functional test

2. Intervention based on changes of style of life at nutritional dietetic level and physical activity.

3. Nutritional supplements with anti-inflammatory, immune-modulator effect, etc. customized to each situation.
