Laser treatment in the field of aesthetics offers the possibility to treat vascular lesions more effectively than with other techniques. That includes lesions such as telangiectasia, congenital marks, spider veins, and angiomas, and small varicose veins.
The laser is an instrument which gives off a great deal of energy in a very short amount of time. It's a precise and safe technique which selectively treats the lesions. The emitting of energy solely onto the affected area means that the surrounding tissue is not damaged. After the treatment, the skin recovers its beauty and natural tonality.
Upon applying this small beam of concentrated light on the vascular lesion, a coagulation of the skin's blood vessels is produced, thus causing them to disappear.
Does it cause changes in the area treated?
Immediately after the laser application, small inflammation of the treated area is produced, as well as a sensation of heat, which disappears after a short amount of time.
How many sessions are necessary?
Normally three or four 15 minute sessions are enough to correct a lesion. A minimum of two weeks should pass between each session.
Is there any after-treatment necessary?
It is important to use sun protection until the treated area recovers its natural skin tonality.
So that no vasodilation is produced, avoid heat sources such as the sauna, swimming pool, hot water bath, etc...
Avoid any treatment that irritates the skin.
