Virology and immunomodulation unit

This unit comprises dermatologists, biologists, immunologists, geneticists, internalists and oncologists, working to diagnose, monitor and treat the main viral diseases that contribute to the inflammatory and neoplastic processes of the main dermatological conditions.

Main conditions:

Chronic cutaneous viral exanthemas (recurring warts that are difficult to treat), condylomata acuminata, recurring herpes simplex and herpes zoster, skin-affecting Epstein-Barr virus, skin-affecting cytomegalovirus virus, skin diseases related to HIV I and II and main protocol of cutaneous conditions caused by the HPV virus, protocol of the main virus associated to reactive and malignant lymphoproliferative processes.
