Our aim is to provide clinical follow-up of atypical naevus and avoid them developing into melanomas. The unit follows a protocol with the geneticists and dermatological surgeons to avoid surgical abuse in the event of growing naevus that show an irregular clinical development and a benign biological development.
The unit also seeks to provide preventive treatments using topical and systemic antioxidants and to educate patients to avoid scenarios that could be very harmful to them.
