CO2 LASER
The CO2 laser works by carrying out a controlled "destruction" of the tissue, which provides it with a great versatility in multiple pathologies. The application of CO2 causes the upper layers of the skin to evaporate, leaving some erosions that clear up in a few days. The size of these erosions will depend on the lesion treated.

Er.yag
The Er.yag laser is used to destroy skin spots and small facial wrinkles, and only requires a few sessions. It destroys tissue that will cause superficial erosion which generally clears up in a few days. This does not require hospitalisation.
Nd.yag
The Nd.yag laser is ideal for the treatment of vascular lesions (telangiectasias, ruby dots, angiomas and small varicose veins on the legs).
The treatment of varicose lesions depends on each patient's type of varicose veins, depending on which we can perform combined therapies with laser and sclerotherapy. Several sessions will be required depending on each case (size, depth, etc.) and patient response. It is always advisable to perform a prior study for each case, with vascular tests and analyses. Compression bandaging and cold treatment will be required after each treatment.
Frequently Asked Questions:
Is laser depilation painful?
- Depilation is tolerated very well by patients and causes only a minimum of discomfort.
How many sessions will be required?
- The number of sessions will depend on each patient's hair type (colour and location). Likewise, the treatment of small varicose veins and telangiectasias also depends on each patient and on their lifestyle (smoking, sedentary lifestyle, obesity...).
Can lasers cause long-term damage?
- No, lasers do not damage skin either in the long or the short term.
Are there side effects?
- It can cause slight erythema and may occasionally cause the appearance of small blisters that cure after a few days.
Do any precautions have to be taken before and after the sessions?
- You should always tell the person treating you if you are taking medicines and explain what they are (even homeopathy or herbal remedies) before each session. It is advisable to use solar protection after each session and avoid exposure to the sun for approximately six months.
Does facial anti-aging treatment cause lesions that require resting at home?
- No. The treatment is non-ablative, which means that it does not cause any lesions or damage to the skin that require any special treatment, except for solar protection.
Is vascular treatment painful?
- The treatment of vascular lesions can produce slight discomfort depending on the tolerance of each patient. Larger lesions are treated with the aid of a local anaesthetic.
Does the treatment of varicose veins on the legs cause any side effects?
- Only very rarely. You may experience blistering or slight pigmentation of the treated area, which can be limited by avoiding exposure to the sun.
