More and more patients are becoming sensitized to skin cancers, which are currently the most common form of this disease.
In addition to providing advice as to how to prevent skin cancer, the dermatologist must also explain to the patient what treatment options are available once the ailment is present.

Indications:
· Tumours that have returned after previous treatments.
· In areas in which it is essential to preserve the skin.
· In morpheiform and infiltrating basal cell carcinomas.
· In tumours measuring more than 2 centimetres.
· In patients with immune suppression.
· In dermatofibrosarcoma protuberans.
The Dr. I. Umbert Dermatological Institute in the Clinica Corachán is different from other centres offering this technique because it offers a multidisciplinary team specialised in this technique comprising a Dermatologist, Plastic Surgeon and Anatomical Pathologist who work together to provide a high degree of patient satisfaction by searching for the best aesthetic result possible in the event of relapse.
